The Humanities Edge helps college students in the humanities make the transition from Miami Dade College to Florida International University.

Supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the program provides financial resources, workshops, and mentoring. A degree in the humanities (which also includes philosophy, gender and ethnic studies, modern languages and classical studies) is a rewarding pursuit in and of itself, one that can also lead to a vibrant and interesting career. A busy weekend ! On Saturday we welcomed 1000s of students for Admitted Students Day at MMC. On Sunday we shared in the pre-Pride parade activities on Miami Beach.
