Farewell, Blue Dungeon 💙
For years, the Blue Dungeon has been more than just a space, it’s been a heartbeat of student life. A place where friendships were formed, traditions were born, and memories were made that will stay with generations of Raiders forever.
To our alumni: this one’s for you. The echoes of laughter, late nights, and unforgettable moments still live within these walls — and we know the Blue Dungeon holds a special place in your story. Come back, relive it, and be part of this meaningful goodbye.
As we honor its legacy, we also look ahead to an exciting new chapter; one that will bring a transformative facility and the future STEM Commons, opening doors to new connections, discoveries, and possibilities.
Let’s celebrate where we’ve been and everything that’s ahead.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and participated in Entrepreneurship Day today. It means so much to see our alumni community show up in such a meaningful way for the next generation of students.
When we come back to share our experiences, ideas, and lessons learned, it gives current students something incredibly valuable: real perspective and inspiration about what’s possible beyond campus. It also reminds them that they are part of a lifelong community.
Moments like this highlight the strength of our network and the culture of giving back that makes this alumni group so special. I’m truly proud to be part of a community that continues to support and lift up the students who will follow in our footsteps.
I hope to see you all at the Entrepreneurship Showcase on March 24th at 6:00pm where today’s finalists will compete for the opportunity to go on to the NFTE finals.
💙💙

This school year, students on the Marian C. Krutulis PK-8 Campus were welcomed into the newly remodeled Dias Library, a vibrant hub designed to inspire a lifelong love of reading. Since its renovation, the library has quickly become a favorite gathering place for our youngest learners and a cornerstone of early literacy on campus, with students checking out 40% more books than last year.
The re-dedication of the library marked a full-circle moment for alumni and community leaders Alain Dias ’93 and Anne Dias Griffin ’88, who returned to campus with their mother, Rosemarie Dias. The library is named in Rosemarie’s honor, celebrating her legacy as a beloved librarian, French teacher, and champion of empathy, imagination, and discovery.
During their visit, the Dias family spent time reading with students and sharing in the joy of a space that reflects both legacy and possibility. As we look ahead to Gulliver’s next century, the Dias Library will continue shaping the journey of nearly 1,000 students each year—inviting every child who walks through its doors to discover the power of reading.

After 35 seasons, Miami Heat public address announcer and proud Gulliver alumnus Michael Baiamonte '81 will retire at the end of this NBA season. Known throughout Heat Nation for his unmistakable voice and signature “Dos Minutos!” call, Baiamonte has announced more than 1,500 games, including six NBA Finals and all three of the franchise’s championship seasons. A Miami native, Baiamonte first discovered his passion for sports and announcing here at Gulliver before going on to become one of the longest-tenured PA announcers in the NBA. As the Heat launches a season-long celebration titled Mike Drop in his honor, we join in congratulating him on an extraordinary career and lasting legacy in Miami sports.

The Class of 2026 kicked off their legacy with the launch of the Collegiate Club, an alumni giving tradition rooted in gratitude, pride, and lifelong connection. Through conversations about alumni philanthropy and its impact, seniors learned how giving back strengthens the Gulliver community and then voted on where their collective gift will make a difference. Our Centennial Class is already shaping the future of Gulliver, together.
