All of you who know me know that I've never feared the chance of failure. If you want to accomplish something, don't let the chance that you might fail stop you from trying. The only thing that you're sure to fail at is anything you never try.

I've shared this line from this song before, and those who know me understand why I share it. I've spoken to hundreds of people at this point about staying positive and never surrendering. I've competed against many people throughout my life, and many have called me crazy when they found out who or what I was competing against. I'm Derek Thomas Lirio, I've funded every project I've ever pursued myself, I've educated myself to do every job I've performed. I know many of you out there who have done the same, and I've helped many of you do the it when you've needed guidance.

Even if they call you crazy, even if everything is going horribly wrong, keep your head up, and even smile. You're still alive, which means it's not over.

I share this quote because those who have known me for a long time and have spoken to me know that I've said similar things before. Those of you who've worked with me remember that I've always said that a business is a mechanism where everyone involved plays a part. A relationship is nothing unless both partners actively work to improve it. No matter how alone you think you are, how isolated you try to be, every one of us plays a part in something greater.

The republican governors have all done the right thing. Every illegal immigrant is being sent to democrat run states, since they are the ones that have said that they are the true Americans that welcome all. California and New York, the 2 most liberal states in this country are giant dumpster fires. Democrats elected Biden to get rid of Trump. They hated the better economy, the safer streets, the better foreign relations. To the democrats/liberals who say republicans can start businesses because they're elitist, you're wrong. First of all, we're not masochists. Second of all, we can take care of ourselves.

To all my independent learners, I hope you've all been learning during the time you had to be at home with less work. If you subscribe to ITMiami on Youtube, I will be teaching everyone to make money from home using tools available to everyone.

I found this article and thought it made some great points that are not often spoken about. Succeeding in school has nothing to do with succeeding the the real world. I recommend all who are a part of the DTL University following read this article, just in case you don't fully understand the things explained.

To all of you following DTL University. I haven't posted anything in a while because I've been pretty busy with my business. I've also been busy talking to alot of former high school teachers and current university professors from around the country who would like to help and contribute to the DTL University community. Keep an eye on this page, as I'm working on launching an official DTL University website.

I keep reading in different places, people complaining about always being broke and poor. If you're broke, do something about it. Right now, there are so many ways to make money when you need it, that if you stay without income it's because of you. People are making money recording videos of their kids on their cell phones. Right now, you can get paid for sitting at home talking to yourself, or inviting your friends and talking to them. Realistically, if you plan it correctly, you can open a chain of stores across the city, and create a wealthy corporation, with $0 in startup capital. Be proactive. If anyone ever needs suggestions, ITMiami is an open forum for discussion.

I've shared this song a few times over the years, but I still think it's a great song to hear, and remains relevant. For those who haven't heard it, enjoy.

Every individual that wants to be, is capable of being beautiful. If you want to succumb to stereotypical, physical appearance, and acting like whatever is popular, you're just gullible, and are nothing, because you only reflect the image that others desire.

Since I was a child, I've acted the way I've wanted to, I've made all those around me smile, laugh, and enjoy my presence. I've been invited to executive quarters, the offices of CEOs, and even CEOs, can't help but laugh. Many have invited me to their homes for dinner.

That's why, whenever people tell me the way I act is not proper, I ask em if they think the CEOs and executives of the world have ever acted like everyone else wanted them to.

If you act like everyone else, you'll only get as far as everyone else. Never suppress what makes you unique. Let it shine, let the world see, that you, are the only you there is.

DTL University is a community of people that wish to reach success, their own way. No, we don't charge tuition, or any sort of fee. The purpose of this page is so that anyone who can, may provide resources they use to learn themselves, or any other tools or strategies that pertain to independent education.

It is true that some wish to educate themselves, but don't know how to start. Those of you that know, can provide tools or methods that others can use, and so, mutually benefit from this community.
