🎉🍕DASH Pi Day Celebration Recap! 🍕🎉

Mu Alpha Theta hosted an unforgettable Pi Day filled with fun, creativity, and a little friendly competition! From face painting and bracelet making to an intense tower-building challenge, the energy was high all day! 🔢✨

But the real highlight? The PI(E) eating competition, where Mr. Georges stole the show in an epic finish! 🥧🔥

Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun and made this celebration one for the books! Until next year… stay irrational! 😉♾️

DASH students visited the Wolfsonian-FIU in Miami Beach today as part of the museum’s Zines for Progress program. They toured the museum’s current “The Big World” and “Hearst yellow journalism” exhibits, as well as viewed and learned about fascinating zine samples from its non-circulating library holdings. Unexpectedly, they also had an opportunity to interact directly with the museum’s founder, Mitchell “Micky” Wolfson, Jr. , and share with him their thoughts about the collection’s significance and continued relevance.
