The Marine Science Graduate Student Organization (MSGSO) provides a link between the students and the school administration here at RSMAS.

We are here to listen to your ideas and concerns and also answer any questions you may have.

Thursday October 28th —
Beach Cleanup 4:30pm + Wetlab after

-meet by Rosentiel pier 🇵🇲
-bring buckets and gloves if you have 🧤
-we will have extra bags 🛍
-we encourage 2 bags -> one for recyclable plastic bottles and aluminum cans & one for trash ♻️🚮
-area: Rosenstiel beach to Historic Virginia Key Beach Park & the adjacent parking lots 🏖
-Clara G and Remedy R are collecting metal bottle caps for an art project so please collect and turn in.
-log into Clean Swell app to provide marine debris data (optional) 🌊🗑
-clean for roughly one hour then wetlab 🍻

Continue to practice social distancing and wearing masks if in a group.

We had a sunny morning yesterday celebrating the International Coastal Clean-Up at the Rosenstiel School! This group of students picked up over 13 full bags of trash equating to over 100 lbs!
