Dear Liberty Family,

Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Mr. Sai Kwan; as well as to the students and staff of KIPP Liberty Academy. We are grateful for his time with us and all that he did for our community. We are deeply saddened by his untimely passing. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Ase 🙏🏾

Our KIPP Liberty Academy students spent the year sharing, building & honing their creative craft alongside the amazing . Their photographs will be featured in the History of Miami Museum Community Gallery starting this Friday and the exhibit will run to the end of August. History was made yesterday, June 8, 2023 as promoted it’s founding and final class to high school 😢😢😢.

Nonetheless, we are grateful for the experiences and memories we share with our staff, families, Liberty City , the surrounding communities and most importantly our students.

Our promotion ceremony was a great send off for our 8th graders, as well as a homecoming. Our founding school leader Mr. Bravo was in attendance. Furthermore, and arguably, Liberty’s finest ELA teacher, Mrs. Bailey graced us with the keynote address.
