The history of Yemen describes the cultures, events, and peoples of what is one of the oldest centers of civilization in the Near East.[1] Its relatively fertile land and adequate rainfall in a moister climate helped sustain a stable population, a feature recognized by the ancient Greek geographer Ptolemy, who described Yemen as Eudaimon Arabia (better known in its Latin translation, Arabia Felix) meaning "fortunate Arabia" or "Happy Arabia". Yemenis had developed the South Arabian alphabet by the 12th to 8th centuries BC, which explains why most historians date all of the ancient Yemeni kingdoms to that era.
The Prophet (ﷺ) asks Allah to bless Yemen
“O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen."

What is Sunnah?
In Islam, sunnah, also spelled sunna (Arabic: سنة), is the traditions and practices of the Islamic prophet Muhammad that constitute a model for Muslims to follow. The sunnah is what all the Muslims of Muhammad's time supposedly saw and followed and passed on to the next generations.[1] According to classical Islamic theories,[2] the sunnah are documented by hadith (the verbally transmitted record of the teachings, deeds and sayings, silent permissions or disapprovals of Muhammad), and alongside the Quran (the book of Islam) are the divine revelation (wahy) delivered through Muhammad[2] that make up the primary sources of Islamic law and belief/theology.
The sunnah of Muhammad as based on hadith includes his specific words (Sunnah Qawliyyah), habits, practices (Sunnah Fiiliyyah), and silent approvals (Sunnah Taqririyyah).[16] In Islam, the word "sunnah" is also used to refer to religious duties that are optional, such as Sunnah salat.

Who Are the Prophets in Islam?
The Prophets in Islam were extraordinary individuals sent by Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) to various communities for the purpose of being exemplary role models to inspire and spread the message of Islam. The Qur’an mentions 25 Prophets by name but it is believed there were many more as the Qur’an states, “And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger” (Surah Nahl Ayat 16).

Hadith[b] (Arabic: حديث, romanized: ḥadīth) or Athar (Arabic: أثر, ʾAṯar, lit. 'remnant' or 'effect')[4] is a form of Islamic oral tradition containing the purported words, actions, and the silent approvals of the prophet Muhammad. Each hadith is associated with a chain of narrators (a lineage of people who reportedly heard and repeated the hadith, from which the source of the hadith can apparently be traced).
All Muslims, be they Sunni or Shia, agree that hadiths are essential to understanding Islam. Hadith are important because without them the Qur'an does not make sense. They provide a context to the verses in the Qur'an.

Tahajjud, (Arabic: تَهَجُّد) also known as the "night prayer" or "Qiyam-u-lail", is a voluntary prayer performed by followers of Islam. It is not one of the five obligatory prayers required of all Muslims, although the Islamic prophet Muhammad was recorded as performing the tahajjud prayer regularly himself and encouraging his companions. The Tahajjud prayer is usually performed in the last third of the night.
Such a beautiful reminder.
Night prayers bring peace to our hearts and ease to our souls.
May we all find strength in worship and receive Allah's mercy on the Day of Judgment. Ameen.

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (ra) said: The Messenger of Allah said: “A man who weeps for fear of Allah will not enter Hell until the milk goes back into the udder, and dust produced (when fighting) for the sake of Allah and the smoke of Hell will never coexist.” Narrated by Tirmidhi and Nasaa'i.

Abu Huraira reported:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: When a bondsman-a Muslim or a believer-washes his face (in course of ablution), every sin he contemplated with his eyes, will be washed away from his face along with water, or with the last drop of water; when he washes his hands, every sin they wrought will be effaced from his hands with the water, or with the last drop of water; and when he washes his feet, every sin towards which his feet have walked will be washed away with the water or with the last drop of water with the result that he comes out pure from all sins.

Belief in the Hereafter is one of the six pillars of Islamic belief required of a Muslim in order to complete his faith.
The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) informed us about the events of the unseen which will occur after death. This fundamental belief is only completed when one has firm faith in his heart in all those matters about which the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) informed us.
Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jamaa’ah (mainstream Muslims) believe in all of these events, whereas the people of innovation refuse to accept events such as the questioning in the grave, the bliss and the trials of the grave, the punishment in the grave, the passing over the Siraat (the Bridge set over Hell), and the setting of the scales.
