Success isn’t overnight. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, determination, studying, sacrifice, and loving what you do. It’s when you get better than you were the day before. It all adds up. I am so proud of everyone in my class. We have all transformed tremendously since the first day we walked into the OR, and I know we will continue to improve each and every day. We aren’t done yet, but success along the way should be celebrated. Congrats to everyone for making it through the hardest semester of the program. I can’t wait to finish these last 4 semesters with you guys! 🤍

This morning is so bitter sweet for me. Today I walked out of the hospital for the last time as a full time ICU nurse. My heart is full of so many emotions right now.
I am excited and hopeful because I know I am pursuing my dream of becoming a CRNA. I am also nervous and scared because I am stepping out of my comfort zone, leaving the security of ICU and my nursing knowledge, leaving the financial stability that I have been use to, and leaving all the many coworkers and friends I have made during my nursing career.
I know that my experiences so far have lead me to the journey I am about to embark on. Today one door is closing for me, but another one has already opened. God knows the plans He has for my life. Now, I have to listen, step out on faith, and trust Him that everything will be okay. With that being said, I am ready! Time to start this new chapter of life!
