Dear Casa Sanctum family
We write this note with tears in our eyes as we let you know that we have decided to close our candle store.
This decision hasn’t come lightly, and we wish we didn’t have to make it at all.
Here’s why.
Retail is HARD. Especially when selling fragrances in online space. It is almost impossible to be competitive with amazon that offers next day deliveries, free returns, setting the bar really high for small businesses like ours, where everything is hand made in small batches, with carefully selected ingredients.
We are surprised that with all the awareness about toxicity in candles and fragrances in mainstream products, people would still choose those cheaper products over their health.
Our goal was to spread awareness and to create healthier home environments, we have a feeling that the change will come eventually, but it will take some time.
We appreciate all of our clients that made a change, and enjoyed our clean candles, we’ll be forever grateful!
It was a wonderful journey, we’ve met a lot of amazing people, made beautiful friendships, and learned so much. We are so thankful for collaborations with amazing artists, that made our candles even more special.
We are closing one chapter in our lives, but only to open another.
Which we are really looking forward to what future will bring!
We already have some plans for Casa Sanctum, so we invite you on this next journey with us.

It’s a summer morning '98, school's out, and I'm in a hurry. I grab a quick breakfast of Fruit Loops and sip of orange juice, slip on my new Converse shoes, and pop Blink-182 into my walkman. My friends are waiting outside, and I can't wait for the adventures of the summer ahead.

We are so grateful for the overwhelming response to our collaboration with ! We've been blown away by the love and support from our community.

We know that not everyone was able to get their hands on a piece from the collection, so we're happy to announce that we will be releasing another collection in the fall. This collection will feature even more of our favorite designs, as well as some new surprises.

So if you missed out on the first collection, don't worry! You'll have another chance to get your hands on our candles soon.
