Excelling Eagles After School Assistance Program

(Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida) – Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church Inc, a Non-profit organization announce for funding received for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021, for the program, Excelling Eagles After School Assistance program, Project -90H-90810-1Q001 as pursuant to the RFA to provide an End-of-Year Evaluation report submitted to the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Family and Community Outreach as well availability to the general public for review.

Excelling Eagles After School Assistance Program is a 4-hour academic educational and mentoring program operated by Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. to assist student’s Pre-K -13 in the areas of Math, Reading, and Language Arts.

Want an idea on how to celebrate the 4th of July without actually celebrating,

FUNDING ENDED JUNE 30, 2021 FROM THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. WE HAVE 62 CHILDREN THAT DEPEND ON THE TEACHING, MENTORSHIP, FITNESS, FOOD, PEACE AND SECURITY THEY HAVE BEEN RECEIVING FROM THE PROGRAM.

IN ADDITION, THERE ARE STAFF THAT WILL BECOME UNEMPLOYED IF WE CAN NOT KEEP THE PROGRAM GOING.

WHAT CAN I DO? GLAD YOU ASKED!

WRITE A LETTER TO YOU LOCAL COMMISSIONER, COUNCIL PERSON, MAYOR, REPRESENTATIVE, SENATOR, AND THE GREAT GOVERNOR OF THIS STATE AND LET THEM KNOW HOW MUCH THIS PROGRAM IS NEEDED TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN OFF THE STREET AND ON TO LEARNING.

HELLO EEASAP FAMILY! Summer is upon us, and the kids have no where to go! Look no further. Excelling Eagles Day Camp will be open Monday, June 7th, from 9 AM - 4:00 PM. Before and Aftercare available from 7 AM - 9 AM and 4 PM - 6 PM
