Did you know the Lexile reading levels can be calculated all the way up to college and after?
I use Achieve3000 Literacy software in my online tutoring Reading & Writing program and it is wonderful! It calculates where the student is coming in, differentiates the lesson reading to fit their Lexile reading levels, and give "stretch lessons" to help them improve their level with every lesson.

Deep Reading helps us look further into a story instead just the literal surface. Lisa & I use this skill with tv series we watch.
Always wonder what those four images mean in the beginnning of Ozark? They are all figurative symbols.
I use Deep Reading in my tutoring, too, called The Three Levels of Reading. Figurative Level of reading is where we find the heart of a great story, more than just being entertained.
