MEC/JAG students enjoyed a great learning experience today at Teal Lake. Students spent the day fishing, building teamwork skills, learning patience, and enjoying the outdoors together. Experiences like these help students develop communication, responsibility, and positive relationships outside the classroom. Great day for MEC/JAG students. 🎣

MEC/JAG students recently visited Missouri State Penitentiary for an educational and historical learning experience. Students explored the rich history of one of Missouri’s most well-known landmarks while gaining insight into the justice system, inmate life, and how correctional facilities have changed over time. Experiences like this help connect classroom learning to real-world history and career pathways.

MEC/JAG students had a great visit to State Technical College of Missouri in Linn, Missouri. Students explored hands-on programs, career pathways, and the many opportunities available after high school. We appreciate the staff for showing our students what the future can look like through education and skilled trades. Go Bulldogs!

They spent time cleaning up the park, picking up trash, and taking pride in their community. This park is a major space in Mexico with trails, open areas, and a lake used by families every day.

📍 JAG Career Development Conference (CDC) | Jefferson City, MO | March 3–4

Our students had a great experience at the JAG CDC in Jefferson City! The conference helped them build real-world skills like communication, leadership, teamwork, and career readiness while proudly representing our program.

We’re especially proud of how well they performed and the professionalism they showed throughout the event.

A big thank you to Mr. Phil Neely for the time and dedication he invested in preparing our students. His guidance made a real impact.

Today our MEC/JAG students visited Job Point in Columbia, MO, and it was a great experience!

Job Point offers hands-on training and certifications that can lead directly to high-demand careers. Students learned you can get certified in areas like CNA, HVAC, hair braiding, sheet metal, bridge building, and much more.

Big thanks to the Job Point staff for welcoming us and showing our students so many future pathways!
