Purple Heart United has awarded the Armenian American Veterans a metal belonging to a past member of the AAV. The medal was awarded to Krikor George Romian. The medal is the Bronze Star Medal. George worked for the RMV out of Lowell Mass. The Purple Heart United's gave us the medal hoping that we can find a home for it. I have emailed a couple of people, but no one seems to know if there are any relatives of George living. George changed his name to Krikor George Romian Keoshian after his mother remarried. Purple Heart United (purpleheartunited.org) founder Zachariah Fike asked if we would find it's home.
The Bronze Star medal is given to a service man for heroism. It is the fourth highest military decoration for valor.
I am asking everyone out there to dig deep. If you know of anyone that could help us find a home, the Armenian American Veterans would appreciate it. You can leave us an email at [email protected]
Thank you

2023 Memorial Day. Armenian American Veterans placing American Flags on the graves of our departed members.
The Sam Manoian Post #1 of the Armenian American Veterans is sad to announce that this year, the Menas G. Boghosian academic scholarship dance will be canceled. Over the past 30 years, some 250 students have received over $300,000 in college scholarships, which have been made possible from the proceeds received from our annual Armenian American Veteran’s Dinner Dance.
This year’s dinner-dance was scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2022 and would have been held at the Kazanjian Memorial Ballroom, Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church, 180 Old Westford Rd., Chelmsford, MA. The Armenian American Veterans are not forgetting our commitment to our children and are still handing out scholarship awards. We are asking for your help by donating to this cause.
We ask to the many friends of the Armenian American Veterans for their generous support to help assist our youth with their educational goals.
