It’s Starting To Look Like Fall Around Here!

The successful candidate in this role is high energy and loves to interact, engage, and teach small children. Must be flexible, with a great sense of humor. Love the challenge that comes with encouraging and teaching young children.

Minimum Requirements of Position:

Must be at least 18 years or older
HS Diploma or GED
Must Pass A Criminal Background Check
CPR Certified (If not currently certified must obtain within 30 days of hire)
Job Performance:

Effectively manage classroom of 5-10 Toddler's
Demonstrate patience and emotional composure when dealing with conflict/difficult situations
Demonstrate physical stamina to actively engage with toddlers for 8-9 hours per day (standing, squatting, kneeling, sitting on floor, reaching, lifting/carrying up to 40lbs)
Document each child's progress and provide daily reports to parent's
Demonstrate effective organization by maintaining class records
Plan and implement daily developmentally appropriate curriculum for children
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities daily
Interact with parents daily by maintaining open and cooperative two-way communication using various methods including face-to-face, phone, text, and electronic
Assist children with their personal hygiene and clean-up of classroom
Actively participate in regular center meetings, staff, and administration
Actively purse and complete annual training requirements
Develop an understanding Texas State Licensing Requirements
Learn and adhere to organizational policies
