HUGE THANKS TO MS. NAOMI FOR CONNECTING WITH ARIZONA SPORTS ANGELS!!! THEY GAVE US THIS AWESOME AND GENEROUS DONATION OF SPORTING GOOD FOR OUR KIDDOS SO THEY CAN ENJOY THEIR RECESS TIME!!!!!

IT'S ALL DAY! WOO HOO!

Huge thanks to all those that came out to support!!!! Our fearless leader Mrs. Hester, our master of facilities Mr. Morris, the famous Ms. Marti, our ever patient Mrs. Caperone, our awesome fixer from Title I Mrs. McEntire, our amazing Kinder Aide Mrs. Price and the lovely Ms. Alberts from the 5th grade team were just a few of our awesome staff members who came to dine on delicious food!

As this was my very first Dining to Donate fundraising event as PTO president, I was very anxious and nervous about how this would turn out.

The rain snuck up on us this morning, at least it wasn't too bad.

I hope everyone had an eventful week and will have a fun weekend!

TONIGHT IS OUR DINING TO DONATE AT KNEADERS OF MESA MCDOWELL (Power Rd. and McDowell)!!
Stop in from 5 - 8 p.m. for a bite and when you place your order be sure to give them the code word "Salk" and a portion of the proceeds will come back to our school!!

Also, if I may ask, if you do stop in, please take a photo/selfie and send it to me at [email protected] we would love to see all of our Scorpions supporting each other!!!!!

from 5 - 8 p.m. when you place an order, give the code word "Salk" and a portion of the proceeds come back to our school for whatever supplies are needed!!!

We have our fingers crossed for a great turnout!!!!!

Parents, in case you missed it, next Friday, September 10 we will be having Picture Day!!!

Flyers went home with students last week, but just in case, here it is.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!!!

Just a few things I wanted to mention this morning;

Parents please remember to send your child/children to school with a water bottle. It is still hot out there and we want to make sure all of our students stay safe and hydrated!

Our area is expecting some wet weather for the next couple of days, we hope the children come prepared with sneakers, umbrellas, ponchos, rain jackets, sweaters, etc.

Tonight is our annual Curriculum Night from 4:00pm-5:00pm. We will begin in the Multi Purpose Room, then parents will be invited to the classroom to discuss grade level curriculum.
