Outstanding work by this team.
Team Secretary Dorothy Stocks leads the safety portion of our NSSF - The Firearm Industry Trade Association gun safety program. The next station is run by Julia teaching grip, stance, sight alignment and trigger control with the Next Level Training SIRT pistols. Then our participants step outside to participate in their First Shots where President Emeritus Kyle Patterson President emeritus Harrison and other WildGats take lead to teach firearm safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship to the public.
Thanks to the NSSF for the safety materials (eye protection and ear protection) and the educational materials.

An amazing week at 2026 National Championships. I was glad to be part of it
So many amazing performances by our athletes. Watching Robbie knock out 4 '10s' in a 5-shot, 4-second series is OUTRAGEOUS in his first qualified match!! was sending a long string of 9s and 10s in . had a great air pistol match and set a PR in .

This National Championship was full of Olympians: James Hall, Nick Mowrer Keith Sanderson , Lexi Lagan , Sandra Uptagraff and others I missed.
My range schedule didn't allow me to watch or Straight Shooter alumnus shoot in their competitions for or SportPistol but they both did great!
One of the outstanding features of having our competition at the Hillsdale College Halter Competition Center is that
we were televised! When was the last time you saw Olympic shooting sports available on a U.S. broadcast? Thanks to terrific commentary by Lexi Lagan and

Great to have the WildGats at the 2026 Nationals. This was P.E.T. (Pre Event Training) for the athletes competing. The secret is that P.E.T. is also for the Officials to make sure all the equipment is working. The WildGats have athletes competing in: men's air pistol, women's air pistol, men in 25m Rapid Fire and women in 25m Pistol. These are all Olympic events.
With the Olympics coming up in two years in L.A. these competitions are Selection Matches where athletes earn their ranking. This goes to determine who will be selected to represent the U.S.A. in the next Olympics.

The had our last regular action practice of the spring semester. That means it is time for a shoot-off. All the athletes line up for a game of H.O.R.S.E. Call your stage and set your time see who can follow. The winner gets the gatling gun!

Another great day at the shooting 25m Rapid Fire. A little bit of snow and a lot of shots downrange. This series consists of 5-shots fired in under 4-seconds at 25 meters away. One of the HARDEST Olympic events in competition.
