East Valley parents -- We have a great event coming up next Saturday, March 26 at the EVIT Main Campus: the first East Valley High School Automotive Skills Challenge. If you have a son or daughter interested in the automotive industry, you definitely should stop by. Automotive students from EVIT and East Valley high schools will compete for over $5,500 in prizes donated by Valley dealerships and automotive businesses. The event will also have a Pinewood Derby race with over 100 mini cars built by students, a car and truck show, and the TechForce Foundation's Mobile STEM Career Center.
