Alice, my four-year-old daughter, has recently started to read. As recently as four months ago, she couldn’t independently read a board book. Now, she is reading independently and with stunning fluency, probably at somewhere around the 1st or 2nd grade level.

It was such a blessing for most of the Stella Maris staff to fly out to Bismarck, ND this past weekend for the National Catholic Montessori Conference! We met so many other amazing educators and gained invaluable insights into the Catholic Montessori mission that we will bring back and implement into Stella Maris culture.
