Today is the 20th annual Read for the Record Day! 📚 It is a day that unites millions of children reading the same book on the same day creating a worldwide community emphasizing the importance of early literacy! 💫
⭐️Our Sousa Star kindergartners participated by having Assistant Superintendent Monica Mesa read this year’s book of See Marcus Grow to them! 📖 Thank you to Ms. Mesa and to Mrs. Schafer and Mrs. Lowder -two of our amazing kindergarten teachers! ⭐️ Mesa Public Schools

Next week is Read Across America Spirit Week! 📚 We can’t wait to see all of our Stars participating each day! PJs, Twins, The Lorax oh my! ⭐️

It’s time to register our littlest Stars! ⭐️ This Saturday 2/7 9am-10am, you can meet our kindergarten teachers and get a peek into what kindergarten will be like! We can’t wait for you to come!! 🤩
