MOOSE ON FISHER CAP LAKE, GLACIER PARK.
This moose was having its morning meal in Fisher Cap Lake with Swiftcurrent Mountain towering in the background. One of the best places to see moose in Glacier National Park is indeed Fisher Cap Lake. Located along the Swiftcurrent Pass Trail only about a quarter mile from the trailhead, this incredible lake provides the perfect environment for moose to feed on the bottom it, and visitors can watch in awe along the shoreline. There are numerous moose who share this lake, some cows, and some mature bulls. It's really a treat so we highly recommend checking it out during your Glacier Park vacation. CRACKER LAKE YESTERDAY, GLACIER PARK.
We snapped this photo of these hikers enjoying Cracker Lake yesterday. The turquoise color of this glacial lake is so vivid it almost looks fake! This amazing color is due to the active glaciation of Siyeh Glacier, which is out of view to the left. Cracker Lake is located in the Many Glacier Area, and is nestled underneath a jaw-dropping cathedral of peaks and walls. It's truly one of our favorite lakes in Glacier Park, and is very much worth the effort to hike to.
