A huge thank you to the professionals who came out to visit our 6th grade students on Career Day. Such a wonderful experience for our Skyhawks!

It was fun to join Alireza Bahremand a Virtual Reality Researcher, Ryan Felten an Optometrist, Karli Cameli a Firefighter and Mark Higbee a Police Lieutenant of Internal Affairs at Hermosa Vista Elementary School’s 6th Grade Career Day. The kids asked great questions and I am pleased to say our future looks bright!

We would like to send a special thank you to author Tony J. Perri and illustrator David K. Ridgeway for visiting our Kinder, 1st, and 2nd graders today and sharing their book Ollie and the Wishing Stone with us. The students really enjoyed the visit.

You can also still drop off your order form this afternoon if you were wanting to pay in cash. Mr. Perri will be here Monday to visit with our Kindergarten through 2nd grade students.

Just a reminder that author Tony Perri will be visiting Hermosa Vista's Kindergarten through 2nd grade students on Monday, April 18th. You may know Mr. Perri from his book Ollie and the Wishing Stone.

We would like to thank author Liliana Leone for the virtual visits with our 1st-4th grade students to share her book series, The Five Eiffels. Her series is a wonderful mix of foreign language and art history told through fun picture books. Ms. Leone will be returning next Monday for a virtual visit with our Kindergarten classes. If anyone is interested in ordering her books you may do so by following the directions on the attached flyer.
