Hi MHS Class of 1987! Wanted to touch base to see how everyone is doing? Our 40th Reunion is only 3 years away. Michael and I were planning on working on it together but God had other plans.

What is everyone's thoughts about the 40th? Suggestions are highly recommended and are needed for it to be a huge success!

Hi All. I was contacted from a former student at MHS (Class of 89) regarding one of our classmates that she kept in touch with.

Cynthia Martin ( Cindy as she used to be known- but now prefers Thia) is in need of well wishes and good thoughts. She is currently living in Virginia and will be going in the hospital January 6th for a very serious surgery. Due to her privacy, I can't elaborate on her condition.

Thia's friend contacted me and asked that I reach out to our class in hopes of having cards and letters sent to her with well wishes and/or pictures and stories of your families and your lives. She has limited family in the area so anything to send out to her would hopefully help to pass the time during her recovery.

She is an avid reader. She is researching holistic approaches to her treatments and nutrition. She previously was a massage therapist and likes folk music, artsy stuff.

Dear Class of 1987 - it's with a heavy heart that I have heard Jeff St. Peter has passed away after a long and difficult illness. God has received another angel way too soon!

When Shelly passed on March 18, 2015, her passing had a profound effect on me and I didn't want another milestone reunion to come and go with out trying to have a reunion.,

The past two years have been a rough journey for me as well. In May of 2015 I finally had my right knee replacement (injury sustained on 05/05/1985 when I totaled my car on Hillside Terrace). All went well and I was looking forward to becoming active again! In October of 2015 I started my journey of uncertainty and hope. I didn't want any sympathy from anyone and that is why I didn't say anything until today to anyone outside of my immediate family and closest of friends. I was diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and Distal Muscular Dystrophy which were all hidden by my knee injury sustained 30 years ago.
I decided to no longer take things for granted, stop and smell the roses, and as I said in high school, fulfill your dreams!

I would like to give a BIG shout out to Debra Murch Doyon! With out her reaching out to me almost two months ago to provide assistance with the reunion, I honestly do not know how I would have been able to do this on my own! I will help you any way that I can with Erica's Run and I'm looking forward to it!

I am thankful for social media for helping me find many of our fellow classmates and to have 40 Alumni attend the event with many bringing their spouses or significant others. I would like to thank each and everyone of you who attended. There have been so many changes since we graduated 30 years ago. Many have married, had children, moved to different states, lived in other countries, advanced their career, and for one night we remembered to stop and smell the roses.

I hope to see you all again for our 35th or 40th?

We WILL be missing all of you that were unable attend the Class of '87 30th Class Reunion - whether, distance is an issue, vacations or other life happenings - we will be thinking of you (and, most likely, talking about you 🤣J/K).
