In this story, I share a simple but powerful reminder: instead of turning up the pressure to get someone to listen, focus on warming up the environment. When people feel safe, seen, and valued, they’re far more willing to engage, grow, and take ownership.

Great leaders don’t create heat through pressure, they create warmth through trust.
