A message from the outgoing President -

Dear NEE Friends and Families,

As this school year comes to a close, so does my time serving as Parent Partners President after four unforgettable years. It is hard to put into words just how much this journey has meant to me.

What began as a simple desire to support our school quickly became so much more. Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated parents, teachers, staff, and volunteers who care deeply about our children and our school community. Together, we celebrated victories big and small, created memories our students will never forget, and built friendships that I will always treasure.

I am incredibly grateful for every person who volunteered their time, donated, encouraged, supported events, showed up early, stayed late, and stepped in whenever help was needed. None of what we accomplished would have been possible without each of you. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to serve have made a lasting impact on our school and on me personally.

To Mrs. Wansley and Ms. Linda, your support, guidance, and belief in me have meant more to me than I can put into words. I have learned so much from both of you over the years and am blessed to have gotten to know yall on a more personal level. If I was successful in this role, it was because of the two of you.

To our teachers and staff, thank you for the love and dedication you pour into our children every single day. It has been an honor to support you and witness firsthand the difference you make.

To the families and students, thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives and memories. Watching our children grow, laugh, learn, and succeed has been the greatest reward.

To my husband, Jarod, thank you for everything. Whether it was demolishing a playground, installing swings or sound systems, building new book carts for the library, or sacrificing hunting trips to help with the School Store or Dudes at the Doors, you were there. I never could have done this without your support. To our son, Nolan, who was NOT always happy about the late afternoons and early mornings, I hope you learned that showing up matters. That serving others, supporting your community, and giving your time to make things better is always worthwhile. I hope you saw the importance of kindness, teamwork, and leadership — and that even small acts of help can make a big difference in people’s lives.

And to those who stood beside me throughout this journey, offering guidance, encouragement, friendship, and countless laughs along the way — thank you from the bottom of my heart. The relationships formed during these years are something I will always cherish.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories and love I have for this school will stay with me forever. As someone who once walked these same halls as a little girl, NEE has always held a special place in my heart - now even more so. I leave this role with a full heart, so much gratitude, and complete confidence that this incredible community will continue to thrive.

Thank you for allowing me the honor of serving as your Parent Partners President. It has truly been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

With love and gratitude,
Judi Cox

In observance of National Volunteer Appreciation Week -

It’s hard to put into words just how much our volunteers mean to our school community—but today, we celebrate you with full hearts and endless gratitude.

Because of you, our students experience joy in the little things—like shopping at the School Store, getting excited for the Color Run, or proudly wearing their Homecoming tattoos. Because of you, events like Dudes at the Doors, May Day, and our concession stands run smoothly, creating moments that students and families will remember for years to come. And because of you, our teachers and staff feel supported, valued, and encouraged every single day.

You give your time, your energy, and your kindness so selflessly, and it does not go unnoticed. You are part of the reason our school feels like more than just a place to learn—you help make it feel like home.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up, for stepping in, and for always being willing to help. Our school is better because of you. 💛
