It's Fridayyyy! π
Whether you're getting up and heading to work today or enjoying a well-deserved break, don't forget this:
You made it through another week. πͺ
If you're working, keep pushing. The weekend is almost here. If you're on break, give yourself permission to rest without feeling guilty. You don't have to be productive every second of the day.
Take the nap. Go on the adventure. Start the project. Watch the show. Dance in the kitchen. Do whatever fills your cup today. βοΈβ¨
Here's your reminder: You don't have to have everything figured out. Just keep moving forward, one day at a time.
Happy Friday, friends! β€οΈ

π€£ Teacher Struggle Thursday
POV: You've tried the countdown, the attention getter, the teacher stare, moving seats, AND a brain break...
..so now you're just part of the chaos. ππ
"If I can't get them to calm down, I might as well get my steps in too."
π Fellow teachers, what's the wildest thing you've done just to survive the school day?
πΆπ Teacher Summer Break, Day 4:
I said I was going to spend summer relaxing...
Now I'm reorganizing my classroom on Pinterest, watching teacher TikToks, and adding things to my cart that I absolutely do not need. π
Too tired to work.
Too broke to quit.
Too young to retire.
Just out here surviving on iced coffee and good intentions. βπ

What's in a teacher's lunch bag? ππ Seriously, don't judge me! It was the end of the school year, okay? π And let's be honest, I treat this lunch bag like it's my purse too.
Somewhere in here, you'll find snacks, receipts, random papers, pens, Tylenol, things I forgot I owned, and probably a dry erase marker that has no business being there. π€¦ββοΈ
Please tell me I'm not the only teacher carrying around a portable junk drawer. π What's the weirdest thing you've found in your teacher bag? β¬οΈ
Me on the last day of school: "I'm not doing ONE thing work-related this summer. Not. One. Thing."
Also me 3 days later: π Adding classroom supplies to my cart π Rearranging next year's classroom in my head π± Watching teacher reels for 2 hours βοΈ Saving classroom organization ideas I'll probably forget about π― Planning lessons "just because"
Why are we like this? π
Tell me I'm not the only teacher who accidentally turns summer break into a professional development session. βοΈπ
POV: The teacher paycheck hit, summer break started, and nobody needs anything from me. ποΈπβοΈ
Initiates beach dance immediately.

π¨ Tales From a Cheapskate Teacher π¨
Let's be real... teacher salaries have turned some of us into professional recyclers, repurposers, and 'I might need this later' collectors. π
βοΈ Ice cream tubs = storage bins
βοΈ Candy containers = organization tubs
βοΈ Bulletin board border from 3 years ago = still going strong
βοΈ Clothespins = getting relabeled, not replaced
If it's still functional, why are we throwing it away? π I know I can't be the only teacher out here treating classroom supplies like family heirlooms. π€£
