We are hosting our first of four summer camps this week at the EERP! These galaxy explorers are having a great time learning about space and pretending to be astronauts! ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš€ ๏ฟผYesterday they had a special program with Lake Metropark, where they did soap bubble chemistry ๐Ÿซง , and today our special visitor led us in galaxy yoga!๏ฟผ ๐ŸŒ– ๐ŸŒŽ ๐Ÿช

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Pre-K A used their ice cream theme to practice some important skills this week. They worked on graphing with a โ€œFavorite Ice Creamโ€ graph, put ice cream cones in number order, strengthened their fine motor muscles with play dough ice cream, journaled about ice cream, painted ice cream cones, stacked rhyming scoops, matched uppercase and lower case letters on frozen treat cards, and had a blast using their imagination in our dramatic play Ice Cream Shop. ๐Ÿจ๐Ÿฆ

The On My Way program is a one-hour weekly class designed for 2- or 3-year-olds, accompanied by an adult, to experience a positive learning environment while having fun in a structured setting. Activities encourage developmental growth in language, fine- and gross-motor skills, and creativity. Weekly themes include story time, crafts, music, and movement. Jesusโ€™ love for the world and us is incorporated each week. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค
