I love back to school time!!! As soon as Walmart starts that school supply aisle, I get giddy! I know that puts me in the minority. There are two July events I would like you to consider, though. Please contact our new DCAE Desoto County Association of Educators president Megan Morgan to help with Admin. PD and/or NTO.

07/03/2021

Boy, did June fly by! We hope July goes a little slower! Happy 4th!

Today’s the day! As we approach the 2021 NEA RA, I find that I have mixed emotions. It’s not that this is yet another online event in a year of online events. No. I’m sure it will be as interactive as possible. However, the end of the RA this year marks the end of my tenure as DCAE president and member of DCAE. Transitions are hard, but I know that DCAE will be in capable hands! Jordan and Moore will continue to serve as your officers, but they need your help. Please consider stepping up to leadership in DCAE as a building rep, ocho, or officer.
Teri Rounsaville will continue as our fearless Uniserve Director. She works so hard for DCAE!
I will continue to serve as an MAE board member representing our NW region, but I will be officially a Senatobia High School Warrior in the fall.
Please be on the lookout for posts about the NEA RA here! Robin
