April is Arab American Heritage Month! We are celebrating and taking pride in Arab America Heritage. We have dress up days all week long that everyone can participate in.
MONDAY - Wear the colors of your country's flag.
TUESDAY - Wear your favorite hijab, head covering, or hat.
WEDNESDAY- Dress in your best outfit, or wear red, black, and green, and white.
THURSDAY - Wear your favorite jersey (represent your favorite team)
FRIDAY - Dress in traditional clothing from your country/culture.

World Autism Day is April 2, and April is Autism Awareness Month.

Tomorrow and Monday are teacher training days for all MSCS schools. There will be no school for students. Here is a message from Principal Davis:

The timing of this schedule is unfortunate, given that our students have been out of school for the snow and ice. We want to ensure that our students are continuing to keep up with learning. Packets are being sent home in grades K-5 in reading and math. Teachers will be sharing their individual expectations. Completing the work will either be extra credit or graded, depending upon the teacher. Please be sure to check your child's Class Dojo page. As your child's principal, I would recommend that every child do the work. Practice makes perfect as we all know! Take care and best wishes from Berclair Elementary!
