PCAHS Alumni Relations
We created this organization to stay in touch with all of our current and alumni scholars from Power Center Academy High School.

This week, we are highlighting Class of 2019 alum, Mariah Higgenbottom!
Mariah is currently enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University. She is turning her aspirations into reality through hard work and dedication. While at PCA, Mariah was involved in the softball and volleyball team. During her 10th grade year, she was involved with the yearbook club and was also a part of the National Honor Society.
One piece of advice she would give to PCA Scholars is: “Believe in yourself! Your teachers are giving you the tools to be successful please use them.” — Mariah
Shout out to Mariah — keep going and growing! We can't wait to see what you do next!
If you're looking for a teaching position this August, GCS is hosting a hiring event tomorrow!! We would love to talk to you about the positions we have available and the ins and outs of our Village's culture. We hope to see you there.
This year, we have implemented a summer bridge program to ensure a smooth transition for incoming freshmen. Each middle school selected candidates they thought would be an excellent fit for the program, and the scholars did not disappoint!
Knight School, a summer bridge program hosted at For the Kingdom, is a weeklong leadership camp designed to teach scholars strong work ethic; character traits such as persistence and resilience; and critical social-emotional strategies. The camp provides an opportunity for our rising ninth-grade scholars to make developmental breakthroughs from middle school and begin their high school journey with a series of positive, self-affirming learning experiences. Knight School provides a unique opportunity for children to develop independence and maturity and to grow to learn about themselves – all while having fun with their friends.
Knight School participants engaged with camp counselors from For the Kingdom, as well as with our own AlumKnights in engaging sessions. Through the AlumKnights, our participants gained firsthand knowledge about life as a teenager and tips on how to be a successful scholar at PCA High and beyond.
