PCAHS Alumni Relations

We created this organization to stay in touch with all of our current and alumni scholars from Power In 2011, Power Center High opened.

When our Power Center 8th graders were ready for high school, Hickory Hill parents asked Gestalt to open one so their children would continue to receive the high-quality, rigorous education they’d come to love at PCA Middle. Now in our sixth year, our scholars have proven themselves with 100% graduation rate, 100% college acceptance, and more than $33 million in scholarships.

This week catch up with Asha Chatman ('18)

Your friendly neighborhood, Christian Artist, Producer, Writer, Mentor & Music Coach, who is super passionate about serving God and leading the lost and hurt to seek Him. I’m empathetic, creative, and easy going, and I strive to be a blessing to whoever I’m in contact with, however God uses me to be. Born and raised in East Memphis, and currently residing in St. Louis, MO, a first generation college student, post-undergrad, I’m currently self-employed, as a Vocal, Music Production, & Songwriter Coach; and I’ve worked with about 30+ students in the last year, from all sorts of backgrounds, including potential praise & worship leaders. A servant leader is my role, and gentle is my middle name. Looking forward to continuing this journey called life.

This weeks throwback! See any familiar face?

This week, catch up with D’wayne Kolapo (‘16)

I’m an independent recording artist. I’m performing around the city and plan to venture out. I just released two new songs and I’m currently working on my debut album. When I’m not working on my album, I’m working for the city at MLGW working to make the city a safer and better place.

Since then, I have been working for Memphis Inner City Rugby in various roles, such as College Mentor, Social Media Manager, Alumni Support Coordinator, and Rugby Coach for High School Middle School, and All-Stars. I also had my short story "Spaceporters" published in Obsidian Literature."
