Over $600,000 invested in PURE youth. 💪🏾

On Friday, PURE Academy was proud to host Congressman Steve Cohen and Mayor Paul Young as part of the City of Memphis Youth Violence Prevention Initiative, a partnership with PURE Academy and Heal 901 focused on mentorship, mental health, conflict resolution, and opportunity.

This is what it looks like when a community shows up for its young men.

We are beyond grateful. 💚

The 3rd Annual PURE Academy Golf Tournament at Chickasaw Country Club was a beautiful day, sunny skies, wonderful people, and the kind of community support that reminds us why this work matters.

Our PURE students were on hand at check-in and through lunch, meeting our generous golfers and sponsors face to face. Seeing those connections happen in real time is what it’s all about.

We’re still finalizing the numbers, but we’re excited to share that we raised approximately $25,000 in support of PURE’s student-athletes.

Thank you to every golfer, sponsor, and supporter who made last Monday possible. We couldn’t do this without you, and our young men are better for it.

PURE’s Junior MANNRS Club proudly participated in an Earth Day community planting alongside 901 Sea of Sunflowers. Together, we planted sunflowers in South Memphis at the historic Four Way Restaurant, contributing to both phytoremediation efforts and the beautification of the community. 🌻🌍

Last week at PURE Academy, we were excited to welcome the Memphis Public Library team, who brought part of their Cloud901 Teen Center experience to campus with music production and STEM activities for our students. Every student also received a library card! 📚🎶🔬
