Before the halls quieted for summer, we had the joy of celebrating one more incredible milestone, Middle School Graduation.
Last week, we honored a class that has grown in knowledge, character, and confidence in countless ways. From classrooms to stages, courts to fields and everywhere in between, these students embraced what it means to live out the KTH Code.
Congratulations to the Class of 2030! The future is bright, and we cannot wait to see all that is ahead for you.

This year’s Third Grade Marketplace was a meaningful success as the Lausanne community gathered in Alumni Dining Hall to shop for student-made goods in support of a great cause. Proceeds from the event benefited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The marketplace is the culmination of the third grade’s PYP Finance unit, which explores concepts of function, responsibility, and causation while introducing students to business fundamentals and the marketplace. Through this hands-on project, students apply what they've learned in a real-world setting, gaining valuable insight into entrepreneurship.
Leading up to the event, third-graders collaborated in teams to determine their products, develop marketing strategies and set prices. Every item sold was handmade using reusable materials, resulting in a diverse and creative selection. Students also made commercials promoting their products. This year's marketplace featured everything from coasters to greeting cards, bracelets and toy rockets, each was crafted with care by our young entrepreneurs.

After an in-depth study of Ancient Greece in Middle School teacher Susannah Livingston's Social Studies class, our fifth-grade Lynx brought their learning to life with the annual Greek Festival!
The celebration featured spirited competitions like Morphemes Mania, along with musical performances, dances and skits that highlighted students’ understanding of Greek culture, history and society. It was a fun and meaningful way to celebrate their learning and close out the school year.

The Class of 2034 celebrated the completion of their Lower School journey with family and friends this morning during the annual Fourth-Grade Exhibition and Celebration. Guests gathered in Alumni Dining Hall to explore the students’ culmination projects, which highlighted the skills, attitudes and learner profile traits they developed throughout their years in Lower School.
In preparation for the exhibition, students formed groups and worked alongside teachers and mentors to research topics of their choice and develop final presentations. Sharing their projects with guests gave students the opportunity to strengthen their communication skills, showcase their learning and build confidence as they prepare to transition into the Middle Years Programme in fifth grade.
Following the showcase, the celebration continued in EPAC, where teachers presented students with certificates recognizing their accomplishments and shared a meaningful video filled with memories and photos from their Lower School years.
It was a memorable day for Lausanne’s fourth-graders and a fitting way to celebrate the end of their Lower School experience.
