Today marks our very own Thaler Beasley’s 15 year anniversary here at Haizlip Studio. Please join us in recognizing this special milestone, and in celebrating Thaler’s hard work and dedication! Thaler is a persistent, diligent designer who never fails to push the envelope artistically. She is creative, conscientious, and unwavering in her approach to any project—and she takes on so much! In the office, Thaler is an advocate for innovation, iteration, and playfulness. Also known as the “minister of fun,” Thaler brings the excitement and is a very bright light, never failing to make us laugh and have fun together. Thank you, Thaler, for all you have brought and continue to bring to Haizlip Studio, we couldn’t be the “HS Peeps” without you 💖.

We want to give the biggest shoutout to our boss, Mary Haizlip, for reaching a milestone of 25 years in the industry! Thanks to for the award commemorating this anniversary. Help us in congratulating her and showing our appreciation for all she does! In our office, Mary is a jack of all trades, happy to help and assist no matter the job. She’s a hard worker, a go-getter, and she never fails to brighten the studio with her witty, spontaneous spirit and careful attentiveness to projects. We are proud to call her our fearless leader, and even prouder to celebrate her for this feat. Happy 25 years, Mary, from Haizlip Studio to you, we value and admire all you do❤️.

Happiest of Birthdays to our very own, Jamie Stempel! We want to celebrate him on this special day for another year around the sun, and for 22 years here at Haizlip Studio. In our office, you can find Jamie grilling up delicious meals for the entire team, assisting in the composition of all things detail, delegating effortlessly, and so much more. Jamie is a dependable anchor in our office, and he uplifts and strengthens with his witty and dependable nature. Outside of our studio, Jamie can be found enjoying nature, playing pickle ball, and spending quality time with his family. Help us in wishing him a happy birthday and a happy #22 year anniversary!

As Fall approaches, we are missing the days with our amazing Summer interns, Shreyas and Jillian! We wanted to give them a big shoutout; they brightened our office and brought a fun spirit of inquiry with all the projects they assisted on.

Shreyas’ favorite parts of the experience were “working in Revit, Photoshop, and going on site visits with the team.”

Jillian enjoyed getting to “work with such an amazing team that taught her new techniques and programs, as well as learning more in depth about the building process on site visits.”

Happy to have them as a part of the Haizlip team if even for a short time!

Haizlip Studio Team Spotlight #5!

Back again to shoutout our team member, Elrod (Associate, AIA), and to celebrate her 1 year anniversary here at Haizlip! Elrod graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Architecture, a minor in Industrial Design, and a Master’s of Architecture. In the office she enjoys playing with scale, diving into details, and is always pushing for equitable and conscientious design. Outside of the office she can be found traveling, picnicking with friends, and making art.

We would like to introduce our firm’s newest team member, Duewa!

Duewa was born in Memphis and raised in Jordan! She recently graduated from the University of Memphis with a Master of Architecture degree. During her academic journey Duewa has earned many awards for her design projects including Creative Achievement Awards on college and departmental level while raising her two boys!

Outside of architecture and designing, Duewa loves to run and watch movies with her boys.

Haizlip Studio Team Spotlight #3!

We want to give a bit shout-out and congratulations to our wonderful Project Manager, Christina Sandor (Associate, AIA) for reaching her 10 year milestone here at Haizlip! Her persistence, work ethic, and eye for detail shine bright in the projects she leads, but not quite as bright as her beaming personality. She is the joy of the office! When she’s not working hard to meet everyone’s needs, you can find Christina enjoying her free time golfing, cycling… or chasing her toddler, Noah!

We want to give a big shout-out and congratulations to Alex Weaver, one of our hardworking employees on passing his final ARE exam. He is now one step closer to becoming a licensed architect!
