Walking in the Footsteps of Civil Rights Leaders
19 UMD students traveled to Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee in spring 2017 to meet civil rights leaders and hear the stories of the courageous men and women who changed our country. They will show videos and share their reflections.

A spring break for civil rights. A group of students at the University of Minnesota Duluth could've spent spring break doing what so many other college students do -- partying. They had bigger goals. They wanted to learn more about the history of civil rights in America.
