A vision turns into reality as the DECHS Transition Programs launched its first initiative “Decision Day” for SWD. It’s important to celebrate all students for their hard work, determination, and perseverance to complete their K-12 requirements. Students throughout MSCS district, like their same-aged-peers, made the decision to continue their education in one of the five district transition programs that will provide them an opportunity to learn workskills and prepare for adult independence. EVERY STUDENT DECISION MATTERS! Congratulations 2023 Graduates! Memphis-Shelby County Schools - MSCS University of Memphis Institute on Disability Programs and Research

Well, that’s exactly what these two young men did- advocated for themselves by attending their MATA-Plus eligibility meeting. Thumbs up to Ms. Tia w MATA Plus.
She did a remarkable job in explaining and making required information relatable to her two clients. Yes, that’s a BIG Deal!
