Huge congratulations to Mrs. Ross and her students on becoming published authors! 📚✨
Our KBE students proudly published a book all about our very own city of Memphis! Through this incredible project, students had the opportunity to research, write, collaborate, and showcase their creativity while highlighting the rich culture, history, and pride of the city we call home.

To make this experience even more special, students also had the opportunity to receive a visit from Paul Young this school year, creating an unforgettable connection between their learning and the community around them.

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and talent displayed by these students throughout this process. A special shoutout to Mrs. Ross for providing such a meaningful and authentic learning experience that allowed students to grow as writers, thinkers, and leaders.

What an amazing accomplishment for our students and a memory they will carry with them for years to come! ❤️📖

What an amazing experience for our students!

This marks the 2nd year of our wonderful collaboration with Cordova High School, where high school students visited KBE to read with our Kindergarten and 1st grade students. This partnership continues to create meaningful connections, promote a love for literacy, and provide our youngest learners with positive role models.

Our students were excited, engaged, and eager to listen as the high school students shared stories and spent quality time reading with them. It was equally heartwarming to see the high school students fully invested in the experience, building relationships, encouraging our students, and demonstrating leadership through service.

A special thank you to Ms. Franklin for facilitating this partnership and helping create opportunities that positively impact students at both schools. Experiences like these remind us of the power of community, mentorship, and the joy that reading can bring.

Our KBE ballet students truly sparkled on stage! ✨🩰

We are incredibly proud of the growth, confidence, discipline, and dedication our students displayed throughout their performance. Watching them step onto the stage with poise and courage was such a special moment for our school family. Their hard work and commitment continue to show that with practice, perseverance, and heart work, anything is possible.

A special thank you to Mrs. Bailey for helping ensure our students have the opportunity to experience ballet at KBE and for exposing them to such meaningful fine arts experiences. Your dedication and support continue to make a lasting impact on our students.

Thank you as well to our families and everyone who helped make this experience possible. Our students continue to Take Flight in amazing ways, and we could not be prouder!

A little late, but we are still so excited to highlight KBE’s Career Day!
Our students had an amazing opportunity to learn about a variety of future careers and hear directly from professionals who shared their experiences, passions, and advice for success. Experiences like these help our students begin connecting their learning today to the possibilities of tomorrow.

A huge thank you to all of our presenters for taking the time to invest in and inspire our students. Your willingness to share your careers and journeys made a lasting impact.

And a very special shoutout to our amazing counselors, Mrs. Bowen and Mrs. Mitchell, for organizing another successful Career Day for our KBE students. Thank you for helping our Cubs continue to dream big and “Take Flight!” ✈️🐻

Good evening, KBE families! Field Day was a huge success! The smiles on our students’ faces and the tired faces of our teachers said it all after a fun-filled day of activities, laughter, and memories.

Be sure to check out this hilarious video of our 1st grade team before and after Field Day. Let’s just say… the “before” energy and the “after” energy are two completely different stories!

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a special day for our KBE Cubs!

What an incredible evening at our Annual International Night at KBE!
Families, students, and staff came together to celebrate the many cultures and traditions that make our school community so special. Different countries were proudly represented through informational displays, traditional clothing, music, and delicious food samples that allowed everyone to experience cultures from around the world.
Many of the countries showcased reflect the diverse backgrounds represented within our own KBE family, making this event even more meaningful. This rich experience provided our students and families with the opportunity to learn from one another, embrace differences, build connections, and celebrate the beauty of diversity.
At KBE, we are proud to be a school where every culture, language, and tradition is valued and celebrated. Events like this remind us that our differences make us stronger and help prepare our students to become compassionate, globally-minded leaders.
Thank you to all of the families, staff, and students who helped make this event such a success! ❤️🌍
