Certainly we, as parents, are aware of the many influences reaching our children in ways we often feel powerless to control. Through a program that builds self-confidence and character, and helps set boundaries of be

Class Four 🖤💚🤍 We met last Saturday and did a review of what we’ve learned so far in Junior Cotillion, added to our dance steps, had a friendly competition on who did the place setting quickest, and (my favorite) getting gentlemen volunteers to ask the ladies to dance. I let them have more freedom in their dance steps to allow the gentlemen to lead their partner.

This gem of a girl has a new single out called “Different”. You can find it on Spotify! Grace went through cotillion as a student and now she is one of our assistants! Grace has poise and is truly a wonderful soul! If you have time (and you do because you’re iced in! 😂❄️) then nominate her! Best wishes, Grace! We are cheering for you!
The list is out!! Ask your kids if they nominated anyone listed. Let me know in the comments!!

In class we talk about sportsmanship and etiquette when watching sports. Here is a great reminder for those who watch volleyball. 🏐😍
Everyone looked so lovely for the Instructional Dinner! I was honored to be in your presence!
As I’ve been preparing for our five-course instructional dinner this Sunday, I came across this picture from last season. That same happiness I felt in this picture is what I’m excited for with my new group of Year Two students. I cannot wait to be with you all! We are going to have fun and enjoy some delicious food! Make sure you come hungry! 😋
Did any of your children help set the table for Thanksgiving?
Class Three was a lot of fun as we learned coats, doors, how to cut in, how to seat a partner at a table, and a few more moves to our dances! I’m so proud of these students! They are kind and respectful with a good sense of humor!
We would like to offer Pre-Cotillion in Saline County! Please scan the QR code to let us know if you are interested for your child!
We packed a lot of things in an hour and a half! When we meet someone/engage in conversation we want to make the other person feel important! We learned WHO to address first when making introductions, added some moves to the foxtrot and swing, reviewed seating our partner, practiced posture in our walking, mini manners at the dinner table and so much more! These students are amazing 🤩 and I’m so excited to see the big things they do! 💚🖤🤍
I can’t wait to see my students and parents tomorrow! Remember to bring your student booklets!

We loved meeting our students on Saturday! A LOT of material was covered, but I know these smart kids will work hard and build on their skills! Thank you, parents and students, for making us feel welcome at our very first class in Benton/Bryant!
I. CANNOT. WAIT!!!! to see all my students and families this weekend!! (Pardon the errors in punctuation, but I want y’all to feel my excitement!!) 😍🤩 Tell your kiddos to RELAX! We are going to have fun!
David and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the pool party from 2-4 pm. Please pick up promptly at 4. I have another event to attend at 5 pm.
Upon arrival, tell the front desk you are with the Cotillion party and they should direct you to what they call the "pavilion". You'll go down the hallway and walk outside. Keep walking and you'll see a little building to the left. That's where we will meet to eat pizza first. It's got AC so no need to worry about them being in the heat! Then I will get them to the pool. You will pick up at 4 pm at the pool.
If you have not paid, remember to bring your $10 or Venmo me.
On another note, I will start communicating through the Remind app as we get going for the season. Please join your class and make sure you set your phone to receive notifications. Below are the class codes. If you have trouble getting in, please let me know.

If you are participating in this upcoming 2023-2024 season, your child is invited to the Hot Springs YMCA on Sunday, August 27th from 2-4 PM for a pizza/swim party! This will be a time for the kids to mix and mingle before we start classes in September. Hopefully they will see some old friends and meet some new!
Cost is $10 per child. Please bring cash to pay that day. Don't forget your towel!
It is necessary to RSVP so we have enough lifeguards and pizza! Please text me at 901-619-2663.
** Conversation starter with your child prior to the swim party: "What kind of manners do you think would be good to show at a pool party?" (We want to make sure we abide by the rules the Y has put in place for safety, so anything along the lines of: no running, no rough horseplay, keeping food and drinks out of the pool, and cleaning up your trash are all good things to discuss.)
Deadline to register for the 2023-24 season is this Thursday, June 1!
Brevin wants to sip his tea and say "thank you" to all who came to the Parents' Reception Tuesday night! Please sign up by June 1 online to guarantee your spot (www.nljc.com/chapter/southcentralar) and submit either half or full tuition by that day.

Come for more information about Junior Cotillion!
The two young ladies on the left are about to graduate high school! 😭😭 These are five of my eight assistants from my first season as director. They are amazing young people and helped me so much! We went to this week to get together for dinner and I gave Elli and Samantha their senior gift for helping in cotillion. I sure am going to miss these sweet girls but I’m so happy for their future! 🤍🤍
Do you know a 10-12th grader who has been through cotillion and would like to be an assistant?! Let’s talk! Email me!
I decided to go live tonight since we are ONE WEEK out from the Parents Reception. If you have any questions feel free to reach out or have a good friend take notes for you!
