About Us

Tonya O’Neal, M.Ed.
CEO & Founder

My name is Tonya O’Neal. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Memphis and a Master’s in Special Education from Cambridge College. I also earned a Certification in Instructional Design Technology (2020) and a Certification in Literacy (2024), both from the University of Memphis. Most recently I have obtained a certification to provide ESL instruction.

At Superior Instruction Center, I provide both online and in-person tutoring for students in grades K–12. With extensive experience working with students facing social, behavioral, and educational challenges, I am dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential.

Each student gets a personalized tutoring plan that may focus on:
• Literacy skills
• Basic math skills
• Executive functioning skills

My lessons are enjoyable, engaging, and interactive, often integrating technology to enhance learning.

Areas of Expertise
• Explicit instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, reading, fluency, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension
• Literacy support for students with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Down syndrome, developmental delays, and other learning needs
