Hello Everyone!

For the last few years, we have hosted the Smash-up Fitness event during the month of July. This year, SSG Merriweather's parents decided to make a personal contribution to Southwest Tennessee Community College in his name.

The committee for this annual fundraiser is calling upon the friends and supporters of this effort to support Mr. & Mrs. Finnie by making a donation of any amount between July 1st and July 30th, 2019.

We will let you know the total amount that we raised for nursing scholarships once the final numbers have come in.

A former recipient has already kicked off the 2019 effort with a donation of $200!!!

Also, the committee is exploring the possibility of transforming the event into a memorial 5k walk/run. Anyone who is interested in working with us on this effort can contact Pam Finnie. Details will be provided at a later time.

Remembering SSG Daniel Merriweather today and always! 9 years really seems like yesterday to me.

I just finished speaking at the Southwest Tennessee Community College Holiday Scholarship and Donor Reception about being an alumna and being a donor. What an honor and privilege! Remember SSG Daniel Merriweather with some nursing students who were recipients. Thanks to all of you who support Smash-Up Fitness. 2019 we'll do it again!
