JoAnn Slagle, the Pivotal Tutoring instructor, has been working with students since 1995, covering middle school to college math courses and ACT/SAT/GRE Standardized Test preparation. Her degrees in Engineering and Masters in Business Administration, combined with over fifteen years of tutoring experience, allows her to teach students logic, analytical, study, and independent thinking skills. She has a proven record of developing self confidence in struggling students; many of them receive HOPE or Full-Ride Scholarships. Once students master the skills taught during tutoring sessions, they are able to apply these skills in college as well as during their professional endeavors. Pivotal Tutoring offers group-setting tutoring sessions for high school math and SAT/ACT/GRE standardized testing preparation as well as self-study tools.
