“What it truly means to be a Tiger”: Dr. Holly Staggs’ Graduation MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Holly Staggs received her doctorate from the University of Memphis this past commencement season, only not in the way you’re probably imagining.

Our professors go above and beyond for our students. Denise Winsor is one of the best!

Professor brings doctoral regalia to hospitalized University of Memphis graduate Staggs planned to attend commencement, even if she was "wheeled across the stage." Instead, she was unable to leave her hospital room.

Tiger Spirit in Full Effect for UofM Homecoming Week UofM Homecoming activities bring together students, parents, alumni and friends to celebrate the trademark Tiger spirit through athletic events, activities and entertainment.

Leigh Harrell-Williams CEPR), Carolyn Kaldon (CREP), and Crystal White (ICL), co-directors of the UofM Mentorship Network, presented "A Case Study on Fostering Grant Writing Mentorship Via a 10-week Grant Writing Workshop" at the University of New Mexico's Mentoring Institute Annual Mentoring Conference on Tuesday 10/22. Their peer-reviewed paper about the Summer 2023 workshop, written along with co-author and workshop leader Leah Windsor (English/IIS), was published in the most recent issue of The Chronicle of Mentoring and Coaching.
