Good evening,Oakhaven Family,

TCAP practice packets were given to students in grades 2-5, and students in K/1 were given standards-based curriculum assignments in conjunction with current classroom pacing. I-Ready lessons for Reading and Math were assigned based on student need by standard and by student performance. Students with internet access will be able to complete the assignments. Also, students without will be allowed to only work on the packet.
Students will receive extra credit for completing all assignments.

District correspondence will be sent via social media and messages via Class Dojo. Please be safe and keep warm!

At Oakhaven Elementary School, we celebrated Veterans Day with a lot of appreciation and honor. We showed our respect for all teachers and staff who have served in the military by wearing camouflage and green. We’re so thankful for our military veterans on staff. Today our Pre-K friends had a great time with the Kidz Kountry Petting Zoo and train. The kids brushed Mustache the Donkey. They petted the turtles, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, hedgehog, and bunnies. They fed the goats and sheep. We had soooo much fun!!!!

Oakhaven Elementary School wanted to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to each of you for your generosity. We are deeply grateful for everything you do for us. Your presence in our lives enriches our school and students. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Here are the photos taken with The Memphis Airport Adopters, led by Lori Morris, Director of Terminal Operations.
