Half days, online lessons, smaller classes: Memphis leaders considering what schools will look like this fall Every morning at 8, Shelby County Schools officials meet to discuss various scenarios for how the district will educate its nearly 100,000 students next year. Smaller classes? Half-day sessions?...
Shelby County Schools will conduct an online summer program June 8 - July 16 for students in grades 1-12 who do not earn necessary credits or meet other requirements to advance to the next grade or graduate. The District will provide devices for enrolled students who do not have a computer at home.
Schools will be communicating directly with families whose children qualify for the summer online program the week of May 18. After being notified, students in grades 1-8 must be registered by May 22, and students in grades 9-12 must be registered by May 27.
Requirements and processes vary by grade level, so please review the appropriate sections below for your child's grade level carefully. If you have any questions, please contact your child's principal or teacher directly.
