You're Gonna Be Okay (Lyric Video) - Brian & Jenn Johnson | After All These Years 04/08/2024

This song has helped me so much amidst the griefđź’”just wanted to share for others going through the same.

“I know it’s all you’ve got to
Just be strong
And it’s a fight just to
Keep it together together
I know you think that you are
Too far gone
But hope is never lost
Hope is never lost

Hold on don’t let go
Hold on don’t let go

Just take one step closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You’ll get through this
Just follow the light
In the darkness
You’re gonna be ok

I know your heart is heavy
From those nights
But just remember that
You are a fighter a fighter
You never know just what
Tomorrow holds
And you’re stronger than you know
You’re stronger than you know

Hold on don’t let go
Just take one step closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You’ll get through this
Just follow the light
In the darkness

One step closer
Put one foot in front of the other
You’ll get through this
Just follow the light
In the darkness
You’re gonna be ok

And when the night
Is closing in
Don’t give up
And don’t give in
This won’t last
It’s not the end
It’s not the end
You’re gonna be ok”

ABOUT ME:
My name is Rebekah Tyler. I am a SODA (sibling of deaf adult). I grew up in a bilingual home where sign language was a natural second language for me. My older sister was born deaf so as my parents learned signs, they taught me as well from infancy.

I have over 15 years experience working in childcare and graduated from Maryville College with a BS in Child Development and Learning. Over the years, I have seen how language barriers can be broken down just by simply teaching the basics of English signs to infants, toddlers and preschoolers. It provides a way for the child to express their needs and desires when speech is not yet fully developed. I have witnessed this not only in the classrooms but in my own home as well with my children!

I am currently a stay at home Mom with 4 children, ages 17, 10, 5, and 2. I live in Maryville with my husband, Brandon, our 4 kiddos, 2 cats, and 1 dog:)
