koSha Kids Camp | Playful Living: Learn from Krishna
The theme of the koSha Kids Camp at Sharada Prabha on November 1–2, 2025, was “Playful Living: Learn from Krishna.”
Students explored the nature of Krishna in many creative ways. They learned the fundamentals of Madhubani art and depicted Krishna through Warli art. They chanted shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita, sang Krishna songs in Sanskrit, and studied Indian classical music in those songs. Through stories of Krishna from the Shrimad Bhagavatam, they discovered timeless lessons that can be applied in daily life.
As the camp coincided with Devutthana Ekadashi, the students also prepared kheer using moriya and milk from the goshala on campus, while learning about Ayurveda—completing the experience with an offering made in devotion.

At the koSha Kids Camp, held at Sharada Prabha on 30–31 August 2025, the theme was “Remove Obstacles: Learn from Ganesha.” Students learnt lessons in diverse ways: through the art of embroidery, they symbolically depicted Ganesha; through Warli painting, they drew his divine form; and through stories from the Puranas, they reflected on the deeper symbolism of Ganesha. The camp also included hands-on Ayurvedic cooking, where children joyfully prepared seasonal dishes ideal for the monsoon and the time of Ganesha Chaturthi.

At this academic year’s first koSha Kids Camp, held at Sharada Prabha on 28–29 June 2025, the theme was “Shine Like the Sun: Learn from Surya.” Students explored enlightening stories of Surya from the Puranas, studied the anatomy of Surya Namaskara by drawing stick figures and practicing yoga asanas, and participated in hands-on cooking sessions designed to improve digestion by kindling Surya’s agni within.
