Watching Raylee drive this little car through Tomorrowland made me laugh because she was SO serious about steering. 😂

The second the car moved one direction, she'd jerk the wheel the other way. Then she'd realize she'd gone too far and jerk it back. Left. Right. Left. Right.

Bless her little Cinderella heart, she was working HARD.

And somewhere around the third overcorrection, I thought, "Well, if this isn't how half of us are marketing our businesses."

We post something. It doesn't immediately work, so we change direction. We try another platform. Another strategy. Another kind of content. We keep grabbing the wheel and correcting, correcting, correcting...and wonder why we're exhausted.

Sometimes you don't need to work harder at steering. You need a system that lets some of the work keep moving without you constantly having your hands on the wheel.

So here's the question I want you to ask yourself: If you took your hands off your marketing for a few days, would anything keep working?

If you're struggling to make your income match your effort, take my Fix Your Mind, Fix Your Money Quiz. Link is in the comments.

Does it ever feel like the minute you stop marketing, your business disappears?

You spend an hour creating a post. You get it written, find the picture, make the graphic, put it out into the world...and then tomorrow you wake up and do it all over again.

Post. Email. Show up. Create. Repeat.

And when you're already scattered and overwhelmed, that constant need to keep feeding your marketing can make you feel like you're always behind. There's never a point where you get to say, "Okay, that's working. Now I can go do something else."

Your marketing shouldn't need constant CPR just to stay alive.

Some of the work you're doing today should still be working for you next week, next month, and even months from now. If everything stops producing the second you stop pushing it, you may not have an effort problem at all.

You may have a systems problem.

If you're struggling to make your income match your effort, take my Fix Your Mind, Fix Your Money Quiz. Link is in the comments.

I recently sat in the room with some power house business women and it seems like the theme that kept coming up was this: “Why doesn't my income match my effort?”

That's a hard question to ask when you KNOW how much you're doing.

You're creating the content. You're posting. You're sending the emails. You're showing up. You're learning. You're trying to stay consistent while also running the business, taking care of customers, taking care of your family, and doing everything else that comes with being a grown woman with an actual life.

And yet, you look at the money coming in and think, "For as hard as I'm working, shouldn't there be more to show for it?"

So you assume you need to do more.

More content. More platforms. More visibility. More hours. More consistency.

But what if your effort isn't the problem?

Sometimes we build businesses that require us to personally carry every single piece of the load. If we aren't actively posting, selling, remembering, creating, following up, or pushing something forward, nothing happens.

That's exhausting for anyone. But when you're already scattered, overwhelmed, and stressed about why the money isn't coming in fast enough, that kind of business can keep your nervous system in a constant state of pressure.

This week I’m teaching my clients how to work smarter, not harder by making sure their marketing efforts are getting results.

If you're wondering why your income isn't matching your effort, reach out and let’s chat. Fourth quarter is almost here, and this could be the best one ever!

🏰✨ Coach Trish is off making magical memories this week!

Hi, friends! I'm Ronna, Coach Trish's VA.

I wanted to pop in and let you know that Coach Trish is spending this week at Disney with her family, taking some well-deserved time to rest, recharge, and enjoy every magical moment.

If you've been around for a while, you know she's always reminding us that rest isn't falling behind. It's part of building a business and a life that can actually be sustained.

So while she's soaking up family time, I hope you'll give yourself permission to do the same in whatever way you need. Maybe that's taking a walk, closing the laptop a little earlier, or simply letting yourself enjoy the moment without feeling guilty.

Coach Trish will be back next week with more stories, encouragement, and practical tips for messy-minded entrepreneurs.

Until then, I hope you find a little magic in your own week. 💛🏰

Years ago I was in a coaching program with a whole room of women getting the exact same material. Same trainings. Same worksheets. Same steps, in the same order, from the same teacher.

Some of those women took off. Genuinely thriving, moving fast, building real momentum.

Others, with the identical information sitting right in front of them, stayed stuck. Week after week. Same spot. Including me.

At first I assumed it came down to belief. I figured the women who were stuck just didn't believe in themselves yet, and if I could help them believe, they'd move like everyone else.

Then I watched something that didn't fit that theory at all. Some of the women who were stuck absolutely believed they could do it. They'd tell you flat out, with total conviction, "I know I can do this." And they'd still freeze.

That stopped me cold. If belief wasn't the missing piece, what was?

It took me a long time to find the real answer, and once I did, I understood why more information had never been the fix for those women, or for me.

Have you ever known exactly what to do and still couldn't make yourself do it? If that's where you're at right now, message me, I'd love to help you figure out what's actually going on.

For a long time I thought fear only showed up loud. Racing heart, sweaty palms, that obvious feeling of "I can't do this." Turns out that's not usually how it shows up in business at all.

Most of the time it sounds responsible.

"I'll wait until I know a little more." "I should really get my website finished first." "Now isn't quite the right time." "I need one more certification before I put myself out there." "I'll think about it and get back to them."

None of those sentences sound like fear. They sound like good judgment. That's exactly why they work. Fear learned a long time ago that if it wants to keep driving, it can't announce itself. It just has to sound reasonable enough that you never question who's actually making the call.

I spent years mistaking that voice for wisdom. Looking back, most of what I called "being responsible" was really just fear finding a socially acceptable way to keep the keys a little longer.

I'm not saying every hesitation is fear. Some of it really is timing, or genuinely not being ready yet. But I've learned to ask myself one question before I trust the voice telling me to wait: is this wisdom, or is this just fear wearing a really convincing disguise? Where has "I'll wait" or "I need to prepare more" shown up in your business lately? Tell me below, I’d love to help you take fear out of the drivers' seat.

Glue. Everywhere.

All over the packaging, all over the instructions, all over the glitter, all over the little clay pieces I'd spent so much time picking out for each kit. Somewhere out there is a USPS truck with slime glue permanently baked into the floor.

Needless to say, nobody was happy with me. I had a physical mess to clean up and a financial one too. Hundreds of dollars in reshipments. Half the kits had to be rebuilt from scratch and shipped all over again.

Here's the thing though. That's not actually the story.

The real story started months earlier, when my coach Melisa looked at me and said something I've never forgotten. "Your emotions can ride in the car. They just don't get to drive."

At the time I thought she was teaching me how to get through hard days. She wasn't. She was taking the blinders off. For years I'd let fear make my decisions for me. It talked me out of good ideas, kept me overthinking opportunities until they passed, kept me waiting to feel "ready" before I'd move.

So when Jane reached out looking for St. Patrick's Day products, I didn't hesitate the way old me would have. I saw a gap instead of a risk. I went looking for ideas, stumbled onto a leprechaun slime recipe, and built kits around it.

They sold like crazy. Then the glue leaked.

Here's what still gets me. The same shift that helped me see that opportunity in the first place is what kept me from quitting when it fell apart. Fear was in the car while I read those emails. It just wasn't driving. So instead of deciding I wasn't cut out for this, I asked a different question. How do I fix it.

That one sentence from Melisa didn't just save a batch of slime kits. It's a big part of why that business grew into six figures, and it's the reason I coach today.

I wonder how many women aren't stuck because they're missing talent or opportunity. I wonder how many just have fear in the driver's seat and can't see what's right in front of them because of it. I'm curious, where has fear been driving in your business lately? Pricing, content, visibility, your inbox? Tell me below, I read every comment.

Tuesday night I spent 90 minutes helping business owners uncover something most of them had never clearly identified before.

What their customers are actually thinking.

Not what they say on surveys.

Not what we assume they need.

What keeps them awake at 3 AM on a Thursday night.

The worries.

The frustrations.

The fears.

The things they're desperately trying to solve.

Because people don't buy products.

They buy solutions to problems they don't want to keep carrying.

And when you understand those problems, everything changes.

Tuesday night, I watched business owners gain more clarity than they've ever had around their customer, their message, and their marketing.

We dug into what their customers actually want to hear.

We uncovered the real problems their businesses solve.

We clarified their brand message.

And we built a 60-second elevator pitch that makes talking about their business feel natural instead of awkward.

Because when you're clear, your customers can be clear too.

And clarity builds confidence.

Confidence builds trust.

Trust leads to sales.

If you're wondering why people aren't taking the plunge into your product, service, or program, there's usually a reason.

And it's not always the one you think.

I have a few openings on my calendar for a Regulate to Revenue call.

We'll take a look at your business, your message, and your customer journey to help identify the block that's slowing down your cash flow.
