This yearโs TCS team was different. โญ๏ธ
Players come to our program to become better baseball playersโฆ but the truth is they become better men. These young men live with us for a year. We feed them, train them, teach them how to lift, study, communicate, manage time, handle finances, change a tire, jump a car, do laundry, strengthen their faith, and navigate real life. ๐ช๐ง ๐
They show up looking like menโฆ but most are still boys inside. By the time they leave, theyโre prepared for life.
On the field, this group won more spring games than any TCS team ever. They dealt with adversity that most teams never faceโlosing their head coach midโseason to an incredible opportunity at his alma mater, and losing their pitching coach as well. A lot was thrown at them.
They didnโt just survive itโฆ they THRIVED. ๐ฅ
And their character showed even at the endโwhen there was nothing left to โhold over their heads,โ they left the dorms and facility the cleanest any team has left it. That says everything about who they became.
Now theyโre heading across the country to junior colleges and universities, with a few uncommitted guys about to make their decisions soon. ๐โพ๏ธ

On February 20, during a game against South Arkansas Junior College, Robert Martรญnez suffered a freak injury that could have changed his life forever.
While diving back to second base on a pickoff throw, the ball took a bad hop and hit him directly in the face. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors found multiple facial fractures and feared he could lose vision in his eye.
Through the power of prayer, support from his family, teammates, and amazing doctors, Robert didnโt need surgery โ and his sight was saved. ๐
After six weeks of rest and recovery, Robert stepped back on the field on April 6 vs. Austin College โ a date with deep meaning. It marked the one-year anniversary of the accident that would later take the life of his close friend Isaac.
That day became one to remember. In the top of the 4th, with TCS up 7โ2, Robert launched his first-ever home run. ๐ฃ The dugout erupted, his family cheered, and emotion filled the field โ a comeback moment full of gratitude, strength, and faith.
Robertโs story is one of faith, resilience, and Godโs grace. He didnโt hit that home run alone โ he had his family, doctors, teammates, coaches, and his friend Isaac watching from heaven, and most importantly, ๐๐จ๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐.

Honoring Coach Justin Braddock
For 9 incredible years, Coach Justin Braddock has been the heart of TCS Baseball. He didnโt just coach here โ he built this program from the ground up.
Brick by brick, player by player, moment by moment.
He came in as a bottom assistant in Year 1, rolled up his sleeves, and poured everything he had into helping a brandโnew program find its identity.
By Year 4, he became our Recruiting Coordinator, bringing in class after class of young men who shaped the culture weโre proud of today.
And by Year 9, he earned the title of Head Coach โ not because it was handed to him, but because he earned it every single day with loyalty, hard work, and belief in what TCS Baseball could become.
Coach Braddock devoted his heart to this place.
He built relationships, built trust, and built a standard.
He helped turn TCS Baseball into a family.
While weโre sad to see him go, we are incredibly proud as he takes the next step in his career at his alma mater Cisco Junior College. They arenโt just getting a great coach โ theyโre getting a great man.
