Please DM if you are interested.
Space Coast Homeschool Expo
Space Coast Homeschool Expo has been Rescheduled! Please join us on Saturday, April 12 from 12-4pm!
It's almost 2026 and it's time to start planning for the 2nd annual Space Coast Homeschool Expo!
The year has flown by and I certainly hope that your year is ending on a happy note as we are fully in the swing of the holiday season. Families are wrapping up schooling for a much deserved winter bring. Homeschool teachers are already thinking about what to do for school NEXT year.
It is time to start planning another grand curriculum sale. This time with much less fuss and a lot more fun. And maybe even an opportunity for volunteers to sell your items for you so that you can just enjoy the event.
Thank you to the volunteers that made 2025 happen when I had to step back due to dealing with a fire insurance claim for our house. (Note that if you still have not received a refund of your table fee because you could not participate in the new update, please send me a message and I will get that rectified.)
Taking an informal poll of what you would like to see and have! Some of the questions help me obtain a location that meets the needs of those participating or attendee the event.
Comment or DM with your responses and suggestions.
DM if you would like to be on volunteer planning and set up staff for this event. The number of volunteers determines if we can do things to make it easier for participants and attendees. Less volunteers = more work for those that want to sell curriculum and less opportunity for fees to be reduced.
1. Weekday or Weekend Expo?
2. ONE or TWO days
3. Free or entry fee for attendees?
4. Fee or sales percentage for Curriculum Sales
5. You man your own table and handle your own sales OR would you to just bring your curriculum already priced and volunteer cashiers will handle the sale in exchange for a small percentage of the fee to offset expenses of hosting the expo?
6. Youth vendors, yes or no?
7. Performances? Yes or no?
8. Mini workshops / speakers or just look at books.
9. Vendor food sales or no?
10. Ability to have activities for kids such as inflatables or no?
11. WHEN? Pick a month, if you are aware of events such as FPEA or Homeschool graduations that would reduce attendance, feel free to mention that.
APRIL, MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER.
Zelle refunds have begun. But there is a daily limit on transactions so unfortunately I was limited today. I will continue to process through the week.
I have most of the information and have texted those I do not except for one family that I do not have a registration to match to the payment. So please message if you are not sure about your student table refund.
Thank you for your patience and please support the reschedule date on April 12 if you can!
If you paid by Venmo for the original Expo Date, refunds have been processed. Please DM if you paid via Venmo but do not see your refund.
(Zelle will take longer due to cross checking contact information since Zelle does not provide it.)
Great News!!

I appreciate you patience! I physically cannot attend on the new date - but will be part of the planning and marketing process.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
I believe in complete transparency.
Due to unforeseen circumstances regarding my home having a kitchen fire and us needing to move out of it, the past 3 weeks have been filled with trying to live life, homeschool and work whole dealing with all that is part of fire recovery:
We need to POSTPONE the Spacecoast Homeschool Expo and Used Curriculum Sale.
I lost valuable time and have gotten behind on this event.
As much as i wanted to press forward - Its not the best Idea.
I have placed a request in with Melbourne Auditorium to “cancel” the event for now which would allow me to be refunded. For now, they have graciously withheld charging me the remaining balance.
Consequently - we have paused invoicing.
And once we know the event status, refunds will be provided. Everyone will be refunded.
I am so sorry to have let everyone down. My house still smells like the morning after a campfire. Though the air is being cleaned, smoke got into everything. All of my 20 years of curriculum I had planned to sell is covered in soot and smoke exposure. Once the restoration company removes all of our items and scrubs down the house and otherr tasks - that smell will be gone.
I appreciate everyone’s patience. The event will be rescheduled.
It will takes me some time to update the marketing.
Stay tuned for what’s next!
Fire safety tip:
1) have a fire blanket and proper extinguishers
2) regardless how long and how experienced your children are with cooking and baking - remind them if the dangers of leaving the stove unattended
3) make sure family (even adults) knows what to do in the event of a fire - not only how to put one out - but when to give up and get out.
4) always call 911 - alarm companies do notify but there is a presumption that it is a false alarm due to burning dinner.- FD waits for confirmation. This is what Brevard County Fire Rescue told me. 7 minute response time from alarm alert until they came. Their actual response time was 4 minutes. The 3 minute delay was waiting for alarm company confirmation.
5) even if your kids handled it well - if it involves them working the fire - validate and then remind them they are children and to go outside to call 911. The house can be fixed. Their life is far more important.

Introducing the first large homeschool and used curriculum event in Brevard County: The Space Coast Homeschool and Curriculum Sale.
With profuse apologies -- My family suffered an emergency when a "small fire" occurred in our kitchen 2 weeks ago. It has been 2 weeks of chaos but we are now on the right track with a new claims adjustor, new remediation company and temporary housing starting today. (All curriculum I had planned to sell will be processed to determine if it can be salvaged.)
Registrations are now being processed.
Please look in your inboxes later today.
Also look for an FAQ post later this weekend to answer our most common questions.
