🌊☀️ Learning Beyond the Classroom ☀️🌊

This week, a group of our students and teachers embarked on an unforgettable experiential learning adventure at the Bahamas Island School on the island of Eleuthera! 🌴☀️

Throughout the week, students participated in a variety of hands-on learning experiences and adventures, including snorkeling, shark research, fish identification, a down-island excursion to explore the island, cliff jumping, an invertebrate night wade, learning about the history of Eleuthera, and even a lionfish dissection. 🦈🐠

From exploring marine ecosystems and studying local wildlife to experiencing the culture and history of the island firsthand, our Falcons embraced every opportunity to learn beyond the classroom. The week was filled with discovery, exploration, teamwork, and unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. 💙

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Today, we had the honor of celebrating our students during our Academic Awards and 8th Grade Moving On Ceremony. 🎓✨

This special ceremony gave us the opportunity to recognize students for their outstanding academic achievement, high honors, meaningful growth, leadership, and citizenship throughout the school year. 📚 From classroom excellence to personal progress, each award represented hard work, dedication, and the commitment to becoming the best version of themselves.

We are especially proud of our 8th grade students as they take this exciting next step in their academic journey. Their growth, perseverance, and Falcon Pride have made this milestone even more meaningful. 🦅💙💛

We also took this opportunity to recognize our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Judy. Mrs. Judy consistently goes above and beyond for our students, faculty, staff, and every department across campus. She has been a key part of so many Florida Prep events, always stepping in with creativity, dedication, and a heart for our school community. We are so grateful for all she does for Florida Prep! 🌟💐

This past Friday, Florida Prep’s Art Gala brought creativity, elegance, and Falcon talent together for an unforgettable evening in the Hall of Flags. The artwork was truly spectacular, the ambiance was swanky, and our students’ creativity was on full display in the most beautiful way. 🖼️🌟🥂🦅💙💛

A very special recognition goes to Mrs. G, our incredible art teacher, whose passion, dedication, and love for her students made this beautiful event possible. From inspiring our young artists to helping showcase their work in such a meaningful way, none of this would have been possible without her heart and dedication. 🎨🖌️👏

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success, especially Mrs. Jenn for her vision hard work, Mrs. Graeber and her Hospitality Class for providing such a wonderful experience for our guests, and Mrs. Judy and our Falcon Singers for filling the evening with beautiful live music. 🎶🎤🍽️👏
