Yesterday, SES was also visited by our Avian Ambassadors from REGI. Thank you so much for visiting our CCLC programs and teaching our students about conservation and local wildlife. The students at both buildings loved it!

On our last Early Release Day, M**S CLC took a field trip to Huey's Hideaway Children's Museum and had a great time!

Afterschool programs do more than offer safe spaces and resources for kids—they bring entire communities together. They create intergenerational hubs of learning, connection, and support. 🥰

At Medford School District’s Family Game Night, nearly 600 people filled the middle school with laughter and energy. Everyone was there—from a grandfather calling bingo alongside his high-school-senior grandson, to parents with newborns, and every age in between.

Families lined up for photos with Green Bay Packer Evan Williams, enjoyed pizzas donated by the local pizza factory, played giant board games, learned about mental health resources, and picked out books from the county literacy council. The building buzzed with warmth, excitement, and community pride.

Events like this happen because of dedicated staff, generous community partners, and funders who understand that afterschool programs are essential for thriving communities. This particular program is possible because of a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

M**S CLC is headed to Huey's Hideaway from 2-3:30 Thursday 4/23, during Early Release. Limited to 10 students and must have permission slip signed. Permission slips can be found in M**S front office or at the CLC desk.
