x kody

The newest Lefty Sniper in Medford has been letting it fly this fall. The first year from SI Men's Lacrosse Team, Kody Haan is showing that the best way to score goals is not to ask permission, but ask for more reps!

2️⃣8️⃣ is back for more in ‘27

After a 55 goal, 87 point junior season in 2026, Chase Beyer is using the fall to add to his offensive arsenal.

The senior attackman from Park City, Utah proves that it’s not where you’re from, but how hard you work, that matters more than anything.

x Kyle Adelmann ‘23

The 2x All-American defenseman from SI Men's Lacrosse Team evolved as a goal scorer over his four year career in Medford culminating with goals in back-to-back games in the National quarterfinals and semifinals in 2023.

Adelmann was also a Scholar All-American as a senior - graduating with a Bachelor’s in Science as he double-majored in Quantitative Economics and International Relations with a language focus in Mandarin 🥵

At Tufts, you can really do it all at a high level!

Kyle is now working at Opto Investments in NYC as an Investment Analyst.

The Freshmen are Learning…

Coming into our program is often a shock to the system: the change in tempo, speed, attacking, and adjustment on the fly is not like anything they’ve experienced in high school or club ball.

However, there are glimpses in the fall when the tempo starts to look more “normal” to what we’re used to. While it’s not clean (yet), the old adage of “get comfortable being uncomfortable” is beginning to take hold.

x A different Kind of Twister

Max Waldbaum is one of the most prolific goal scorers in program history scoring 102 goals in just 32 career games. And he was able to score at that type of clip because of his creative finishes, like this one vs. Colby in 2021.

In 2021, Covid delayed the start of the season and we opened the year on April 10th with temps reaching a scorching 90° on Bello Field!

So be ready for anything, and practice your twisters!

Saturday Skill Development x Backhanders

We’ve all seen the band handed shot from below GLE, but what if you could do that from above the cage? Actually, you can.

This weekend, try out this dominant hand finish - it’s a great way to keep the ball in the strong hand if the defender forces you to your weak hand.

In this instance, Jack Boyden buried this backhanded finish against Bowdoin to eclipse 100 points on the season just the 15th game of the 2023 season. Boyden would finish the year with 157 points on 69 goals and 88 assists.
